Responding to COVID-19 Together

This is a challenging moment in history. As governments act to control the spread of COVID-19, much of the global economy has slowed down or even stopped. While these measures are necessary to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases entering hospitals at one time, they have also contributed to this moment of uncertainty.

At TechGuilds, we have decided to rise to this moment by taking some common-sense measures to ensure the health and safety of our team, as well as our families and communities:

1. We are working from home

The office is empty; all of our team members are working from home and staying in contact online. This change isn’t a drastic one for us. We already have team members in California and Turkey and are well-practiced at getting things done remotely. Because working from home is a possibility for us, the choice is an easy one - we want to do our part to help stop the spread of this disease.

2. We are still available around the clock

Our business is not slowing down. For our clients, there will be no change in the day-to-day experience of working with us. TechGuilds is just as dedicated to our commitments as we have been, and just as dedicated to becoming the best Sitecore team in the world. Our support team is still available around the clock, and our development team keeps developing. We’re also dedicated to open communication, and will continue to be available and transparent for our clients.

3. We are in this together

We’re working with our clients to better meet their needs in this challenging time. Economic challenges mean sudden changes in demand and budget. Fortunately, as a small, agile company, we’re well-suited to help our clients pivot toward whatever strategy helps them meet this moment. Expect to hear more from this space soon about how we’re using our PEEK Web VR tech to help our clients reach customers in this time of social distancing.

4. We are offering free lunch and Q&A calls

For people who aren’t our clients, we’re also available. If you’re in need for some Sitecore support or want to talk about a potential engagement with us, you can schedule a free lunch and Q&A call.

5. We are staying up-to-date

As the situation develops we will continue to monitor official channels of communication, including Canada’s messaging about COVID-19. We advise everybody else to do the same, and to take obvious safety precautions such as staying inside as much as possible and washing hands often.

We are all on the verge of being impacted by the dramatic events of this year, which is why it’s important for people to support each other in ways we can. We will all need patience and perseverance to get through this challenging time. At TechGuilds, we’re a family and look out for each other. We’re also here for you.
